Check-in/Check-out Times

Check-in is available between 3pm and 9pm. Check-out time from your room is before 11.00am in order to allow us to prepare the room for the next guests. If you have specific requirements regarding your arrival or departure times we are very happy to try to accommodate although it may not always be possible.

We reserve the right to make additional charges if rooms are not vacated by the agreed times.

For reservations made directly with us, complimentary afternoon tea is served on arrival between 3pm and 6pm

Cancellations

We fully understand that circumstances sometimes mean that it may be necessary to cancel your reservation with us. If this is the case, the following policies apply:

• If the reservation is cancelled up to 2 days before your arrival date, then all charges will be refunded, minus a 5% administration fee.
• If the reservation is cancelled within 2 days of your arrival date or in the event of a “No Show”, charges will not be refunded.
• If you require an invoice to support a travel insurance claim, then please let us know, we will be happy to provide one.

Personal Property

Riverbank House is not responsible for your personal belongings and valuables like money, jewellery or any other valuables left by guests in the rooms.

Damages & Breakages

You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you or any member of your party cause to the accommodation or its contents. Please report these as soon as they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we reserve the right to make a charge for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant.

Children

Please note that due to the historic nature of the house, we only accept adult guests. I’m afraid we cannot accept children as guests.

Pets

Although we love animals, we do not allow them in any part of the house.

Parking

We provide on-site parking but guests accept that they park their vehicles at their own risk.

Acceptance

Your reservation with Riverbank House constitutes your understanding and acceptance of the above terms and conditions.
