Breakfast at Riverbank House served overlooking the River Bandon, so you can enjoy all that nature has to offer that morning.
Included within the room rate, we offer a delicious continental breakfast with a variety of home-made and locally sourced ingredients.
Take your time to enjoy a choice of cereals, yoghurts, fresh fruits, and orange juice, while we prepare your free range eggs to order.
Choose from a wide selection of premium teas, or a cafetiere to complement our locally baked breads. Home-made marmalade and jams from the fruits of the garden are in plentiful supply.
At Riverbank House, we understand that a relaxing breakfast is the perfect way to start the day, so linger as long as you like, or perhaps take an extra cup of coffee or tea up to the Hill Fort and relax in the rocking chairs for a while and watch the river flow by!
Dinner
Cork is blessed with an abundance of amazing restaurants, and we can certainly provide you with recommendations. However, sometimes you just want to stay in and relax with a takeaway, and at Riverbank House we are happy to oblige.
You could choose to eat at the dining table, overlooking the river, and then relax in the cosy sitting room in front of a roaring fire and perhaps play a board game after your meal. You might choose to eat in the garden, or in the summer-house overlooking the river.
Wherever you choose, we can either set the table for you to create your own little bistro, or provide you with a picnic basket full of cutlery/crockery/glasses (and the important bottle opener), so you can eat al fresco in style. Just let us know what you’d like to do, and we will be happy to oblige (be warned…..at least one marriage proposal has materialised from these evenings!)
