We offer our guests a perfect place to relax in luxurious surroundings with beautiful views of the River Bandon from every window, along with care and attention given to anything you may need. We are a short drive from Cork, Kinsale and Bandon, and just off the Wild Atlantic Way, so we are perfectly placed for you to explore the local area.
The house has been tastefully restored, retaining the original Georgian features. Elegantly decorated and furnished with antiques, we offer comfort and luxury, with all the modern facilities that you would expect. There is excellent internet access throughout the house and en-suite facilities in all bedrooms.
Please note that due to the historic nature of the house, we only accept adult guests.
Get close to nature
The grounds offer plentiful areas for you to wander or just to sit and relax. The property sits in 6 acres, which includes a beautifully tended walled flower garden, a large vegetable garden, orchard, woodland walks, a pretty stream and even an Iron Age Cliff Fort with a summer house overlooking the river.
Check in is between 4pm and 6pm, when we serve homemade bakes with a reviving pot of tea or coffee, so you can unwind and plan the rest of your stay. If you wish to check in outside of these hours, please let us know in advance, and we will be happy to accommodate you.

Breakfast at Riverbank House is included in your room rate, and is served overlooking the River Bandon, so you can enjoy all that nature has to offer that morning. We offer a delicious continental breakfast with a variety of home-made and locally sourced ingredients.
Dinner
Cork is blessed with an abundance of amazing restaurants, and we can certainly provide you with recommendations. However, sometimes you just want to stay in and relax with a takeaway, and at Riverbank House we are happy to oblige.
